The Monke
Life is a dungeon, and I'm just a monke.
Friend, you're not "young at heart" — you straight-up never evolved. Your soul is still hanging from a tree branch, swinging on a vine, eyes lighting up at the sight of a banana. When humanity's ancestors decided to climb down, learn to walk upright, and put on suits and ties, the Monke personality's ancestors watched from the neighboring tree, scratched their butt, and let out a dismissive screech. They saw through everything: so-called "civilization" is just the most boring, least fun pay-to-play game ever invented. Rules are occasionally meant to be broken, ceilings are meant for hanging upside down from, and conference rooms are for backflips. MALO is basically an unhinged idea that fell out of an enormous plot hole and forgot to close the door.
Confidence fluctuates with the weather: tailwind and you fly; headwind and you turtle up.
Your inner channel has a lot of static — frequently stuck buffering on "Who am I?"
You're easily propelled forward by goals, growth, or some deeply held conviction.
Half trust, half suspicion — emotionally you're constantly on a seesaw.
Once committed, you go all the way — pouring in emotions and energy generously.
Need a bit of both closeness and independence — adjustable-dependency type.
Neither naive nor full conspiracy theorist — watchful waiting is your default.
If a rule can be sidestepped, it will be — comfort and freedom usually rank first.
You operate with direction and roughly know which way you're headed.
Sometimes you want to win, sometimes you just want to avoid hassle — mixed-motive mode.
Tends to loop a few extra rounds before deciding — your mental meetings regularly run overtime.
Strong drive to push things across the finish line — open tasks feel like a splinter in your brain.
Socially slow to warm up — making the first move usually requires half a day of psyching yourself up.
Want to be close yet keep a gap — boundaries adjust depending on who it is.
Skilled at adapting your persona to different contexts — authenticity gets dispensed in layers.
